Steering wheel turns noticibly to left/right as I slow/come to a stop
I've noticed this effect just in the last few months, anyone know what might be the cause? Happens even on level ground.
Dealer inspected front suspension recently and said nothing was wrong. Last alignment was done this past spring. Car drives straight. Tires new this spring. Not runflats. Dealer did mention that brakes are getting close. Not enough for freebies before free maintenance was over though. Shocks sound fine (still get that piston hiss going over bumps). Anything major like a control arm would probably have been noticed by the dealer. No codes thrown. Am at 51k and change miles atm. Thanks. |

I think this is normal but is caused by uneven pavement (impressions, ridges etc) even on flat ground. My car used to do this intermittently but usually always on the same road or at the same stop light.

+1. This happens to me at this one traffic light when I am slowing down. I never noticed anything wrong at first with the road, but over the past year the road has been getting worse and worse. It had me worried at first until I realized it was the road that was the issue.
