E90 Individual Options
Hi guys!
I have not seen any info here on the BMW Individual options available for the E90 and I guess you guys would be interested. Some nice paints, rims and other options available only for the Individual programme. BMW Individual Visualizer (low bandwidth option) The above URL is for the international site's low bandwidth option. You can also enter www.bmw.com international web site and choose the Individual menu selection under the 3 series menu option. Cheers, J |

It's true... the BMW individual program is pretty hot. I think a co-worker of mine managed to get his Z4 with individual options, but I'm not sure.. I will have to check!
In the meantime, I wonder if it is possible to order some of the options that they have listed on that site from Europe, and have them retrofitted. Example: anthracite headliner -- this wouldn't be too hard to have installed at a good car customizer. And its easy, because it already has been cut for the car! That would be a killer mod. Ah, the things we could do with unlimited funding... Drive safe. |

OMG! This is unbelievable. The combos available are so damn nice, e.g., Marino leather champagne with Piano black finish. Did you see that interior combo?? Jeez! To say nothing of those paint finishes. We get Barrique; they get Ruby Black Metallic. So sophisitcated. I would literally be drooling every time I got in the car. I almost regret having seen this. IMO, those interior options set the bar way above our interiors, and just as a knee-jerk reaction, it seems to me there would be a huge demand for that here in the U.S.

A lof of dealers can make it available for you if you ask, but then again the majority don't even know what the heck is Individual. Yes, a lot of Euro options can be retrofitted, but you will have a hard time trying to convince your average dealer to sell you Euro spec parts and install them for you. Online sources and indy shops are your best frients.

Individual Nice but Expensive
If you want Individual, bring money. That's assuming you can find a dealer hungry and interested enough to go toe-to-toe with munich for a few months to get it for you....
Around US$2,000 for paint and $2,000-$3,500 for upholstery depending on selection. I got my 2002 E46 325xiT with Arizona Sun Maple Trim for US$750 when they were still charging $450 for wood so I thought this was a good buy. Now that wood is free, I'm getting poplar and pretending I like it as much as the maple... |
