what a crazy race that was.. at least 4 stops for each driver and what a disastrous race for Merc's.. Toto was saying we might making karma angry and seems he was right.. things fall apart pretty badly after the first quarter for Merc's.. even i was telling what the f by putting slicks that early..

pretty neat racing from Max apart a spin on wet and he deserved to win this race. great job they pulled together and held it at the right place.. Vet was pretty happy though i feel like he doesnt even thinking about becoming a champ this year.. felt pretty sad for Leclerc cause it was obvious that he was giving more than what car handle and in the end a Merc' ad fell on his head.. but he has a long career ahead..

i dont understand why this track is unwanted anymore cause races over here was always fun.. though as far as i remember it was more of financial decision which is not certain yet..

well done Red Bull and Max.. great racing..

First full F1 race I have watched and was it ever entertaining from start/finish! I didn't expect to see a lot of things for a F1 race but I guess the rain had a lot to do with it and it was a factor for the entire race.

Interesting to hear the cheers when both Hamilton and Bottas pretty much took themselves out of the race.

Probably because of the (perceived) arrogance of MB? They are the Bayern München of motorsports.

I'm not sure about that . Remember the 2016 Brazilian GP in the crazy rain he drove with....*Renault* !
Don't think about a replacement in the second seat ...RB will keep Gasly .

Max lost it today again with his launch control ...3th time in the last 3 races !
Honda should work on it ASAP !

I hate them as much as anybody else, mostly because I want to see a competitive field, but their domination of the turbo hybrid era will go down in history. Having the best car for the last what, 5 years, and insufferable #1 driver make for a lot of reasons to resent their success

Yes the launch control is crazy. They really have to get a handle on it - can't happen again. Gotten away with with great drives to get the spots back but can't keep pushing their luck like that. Very strange how that has happened the last few races.

Oh I'm not trying to take anything away from Max with the Honda statement. I think Max has the most talent on the circuit and has been able to achieve the correct mindset to capitalize on it now. Certainly won't forget the epic Brazil GP in the wet - that was truly insane. The rain is supposed to separate the men from the boys and it certainly appears like it happened today. I'm just ecstatic that Honda has made the progress that they have to help give him the tools he needs to compete. Doesn't look like they are yet on equal ground in power but they have gotten close enough to let his talent carry him to good results. Hopefully they keep it up!

That. was. amazing... Can't believe Hamilton double crashed, and also was able to continue in both cases.

Because the majority of Merc fans are:
1) HAM fanboys.
2) Kids who started watching F1 in the past few years and chose to cheer for the winning team.
3) Ferrari haters.

I'm not going to lie, it was the most beautiful thing seeing HAM run last and BOT crashing out. It's a humbling experience for them and they should learn that when the field is neutralized by rain they aren't that much more talented. Mind you the Merc with its higher downforce should dominate even more in the rain.

Yes that was very strange seeing them struggle like that. Not a Hamilton fan but he has been historically good in the rain so was very weird seeing him all over the place like that. It's like he and Vettel had freaky friday thing going on and swapped bodies. Vettel puts in a perfect race and goes from 20 to 2; Hamilton starts on pole and only finished ahead of the Williams cars (of who was still running)... And Bottas loses it and admits he probably pushed it to hard trying to keep up with *gulp* Stroll??? Strange day indeed.

What a race! No one was safe out there. Disastrous qualifying for Ferrari leads to LEC leading at one point only to crash out after switching to slicks too early and VET working his way from P20 to P2. Probably the most exciting race I have seen.

Do you call starting at the back of the grid in front of your home crowd one year after throwing away a win while your young teammate started 10 places ahead "no pressure"???
I'm sure he had flashback every time he went through Sachs.

cant understand this amount of hatred for HAM and Merc.. im a fan of Merc' since early McLaren days which makes more than 20 years now with some breaks for Merc.. i can call myself fanatic but not a blind one though still rational..

slicks on wet and full wet is always a gamble for any car.. i remember such a race that i ve been with 26hp kart on full wet weather with slick tires that i had to lean each direction to get some grip on a corner or a straight.. had drive like a motorcycle and power sliding like a drift car for many meters just to stay on the track.. we re talking about Formula 1 and such a driver that has 5 F1 titles, 80 wins and 87 pole positions.. wins every 3 race, that he attends.. broke almost all the records till now.. this week was a bad one for HAM and Merc' since they re humans also.. he was sick on Friday that Merc' wasnt even sure he ll drive.. he spun 2 times but still didnt end up on a barrier.. even Max's race wasnt looking good when he spun in the beginning of the race.. from my perspective i never seen him making multiple mistakes on weekend that like Toto says anything could go wrong really went wrong as a team.. but HAM still didnt give up until crossing the line that even TV didnt show he was so close to get a point but went out of laps.. though now he got 2 points anyway after FIA found out illegal clutch position on Alfa's.. anyway to sum up, HAM never blocked the race track for avoiding others for putting a lap in, never hit deliberately more than once in different years to be a champ or anything like that like Schumi was doing.. you may be overwhelmed by HAM winning races but he is one best drivers out there as a package like duels on track, one lap etc.. was a really bad race but for me seeing a driver that has such stats like this still fighting for 1 point showed me how great warrior he is.. next week there ll be a new race weekend..

How I loved Robert when he was driving that crazy BMW F1 car to the limits. And I remember vividly when he crashed against that Montreal wall - Watching the race live I was quite sure he was dead.

I don't think he ever fully recovered from that horrendous rally racing accident shortly afterwards but man I love this Polish warrior.
