So I'm thinking of adding some light mods. I'm looking to keep it clean. I'm thinking of black kidney grills, tints maybe 35% and possibly rear lip spoiler but most likely not. Thoughts? also what else could I do keeping it clean but also inexpensive? I feel like a car like this you need to keep it classy or at least that's the look I'm going for.

I like the way you think about it. I’m fanatical about keeping mods “clean”. And I want them to look like they are so well coordinated that they could have come from the factory.

I put black grills on my car. I have mixed emotions on them becasue on a light colored car I don’t like that there is no longer body color separating the two grills. No so much a concern on my Carbon Black car, but something to ponder on your white car. But I would still probably do it. I think the chrome on the grill is too much chrome. The chrome on the F10 was thinner.

The modest BMW accessory rear spoiler looks good. But my opinion is only if it’s body color.

Tinted windows is a no brainer. Especially on a white car....or any other color!

Your attitude will assure that whatever you do looks good!

Similar boat to you! Recently picked up a 2018 540i xDrive in carbon black with the M-Sport package. The current list of cosmetic mods:

- gloss black double-slat kidney grills (hate the chrome surrounds on the stock grills)
- carbon fibre mirror caps
- carbon fibre front lip
- carbon fibre rear deck spoiler (similar style to M5)
- 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers (this really makes the 759i wheels flush with the fenders)
- 30% ceramic tint all around
- M-Performance stainless steel pedals

I’m also planning to do a M-style rear diffusers with the Remus quad axle back exhaust.

Hope that gives you some ideas!

I'm mixed about adding the spoiler. I'm not trying to chase an M. I have m sport but I can't find much on a white lip spoiler.

To each their own! I was able to find a carbon black metallic lip spoiler on eBay. I’m sure alpine white shouldn’t be too difficult to find. Some examples below...

I have a 19 540 with m package. Added the double slat black grill, front lip spoiler, CF trunk spoiler and CF lower diffuser. Certainly doesn't look stock but the car looks more aggressive. In my opinion, the car looks too plain without a trunk spoiler, even a small one. but that's just me.

You need to delete that first picture ASAP or at least crop the bottom out because it shows other pictures on your phone (social security card and drivers license/passport). They're small pictures, but I wouldn't chance it with personal information on the internet.

You can post that original picture you have of the car, but you took a screenshot of the picture which in turn shows the other 15 photos that you recently took at the bottom of the screen. So if you post the actually picture of the car then you'll be fine.

I tried sending you a PM as well, but wasn't sure which you would see first so I wanted to do both.

Tinted earlier this week, just did a detail, replaced kidney grill with painted center and some stem caps. Love this car.
