Where do you place your key fob?

I have a key chain attached to my key fob and have a cover for the key because I want to protect it from scratches and damage. I don't know where to put the bulky thing.

Any ideas on applying felt to the corner cubby by the head light adjustment settings?

I have the BMW Key Cover on it which makes it even bulkier...

I usually keep it in my jeans pocket or coat pocket since Comfort Access and Push Button Start means I never need to "use" the key. But I agree it is large.

I leave my key fob in my house now that my iPhone and Apple Watch let me get into my car and drive away!

Is this gimmicky (kind of like the gesture controls) or actually useful? I've never found carrying a fob in my pocket to be too much of a burden.

I don't trust the technology enough to do that. I don't think that feature is available on my 2017 5 series!

In my pants pocket in the summer or coat/jacket in fall/winter/spring. At work, in the summer, I leave my keys on my desk If I'm out with my laptop bag...I keep it in there if I don't want it out in the open or in my pocket.

With how BMW tech tends to be very temperamental I don't think I'd trust using this as my only key. Especially on a MY2021 which is the first generation with the tech. You're a brave soul!

Wad of many keys plus the attached fob into the cup holder.

In my pocket. I don´t have any other keys connected to it. At work I get in by an access card, at home with a fob or a code = happy days.

Yeah, it still is what shocked me the most swapping to the car. I thought my Mercedes key was large and then I got the 5-Series and went

@Beerflakes — it's kind of gimmicky but I don't mind it. The only downside is I cannot open my trunk with the phone nor does it seem like I can open the car from any other door other than the driver's door. But since I now have the functionality, I will keep trying it until I get fed up and just put the key in my pocket.
