To me, BMW cars generally have a distinct scent. My wife observed the same when we were shopping for her.

There's the big issue... weight. Carbs are a bigger factor than sugar.

Yup, this stuff is the one thing that has been in my detail toolbox for 5 years and hasn’t been supplanted by something better.

It last a friggin long time too on the dash and doorcards. The seats not nearly as long because of clothes soaking it up.

Air Freshener? What's that? I've never used air fresheners in my cars. Well, both cars I've owned have been BMWs (minus the winter beater). I just like the way BMWs smell. Idk, they come with either a "crayon-like" smell to them like my E90, or "leather-like" the G30.

Speaking of Air Fresheners, the tell tale sign of a smoker is a tree air freshener hanging from the mirror. 30 years of personal study in daily bumper to bumper traffic.

I saw what was probably an 80 year old woman in a brand new S Class smoking a heater in traffic the other day. Old school, not giving a shit about that 6 figure car she’s destroying.

lol the pre-owned usually have this distinct leather cleaner smell and smells like no one opened the door/window in 20 days in mid-summer.

the leather and steering usually have a glow/shine to it which i feel like it rubs off on my clothes... seat is usually slippery as well.

Oh yeah, I brought the 540 CPO. When I went to buy the car, I wiped the whole interior down myself with a damp MF towel because it had that slippery shiny cleaner all over the place.

The E90, I brought privately from the 1st owner. No bs cleaners sprayed everywhere.

I'm surprised that nobody here has used candles inside cars. We went to Whole Foods, saw some small candles in tint cans and got one. I left it inside the car and it smells great!

Same, P&S interior cleaner here. Smells great and you can go from leather, to wood, to glass with it.
