I have a 2017 540i xDrive. Looking to do a couple mods on the engine just to make the car a little more fun. I wanted to do the JB4 tuning chip, Downpipe, A BMS intake (because I can’t find a CT Turbo Intake for a G30).

I was playing around with upgrading the charge pipe, I hear it helps with throttle response. Can anyone confirm? Is the increase in throttle response worth it?

Also if anyone has first hand experience with JB4, specifically regarding warranties. I’d wait for the down pipe and charge pip until after warranty is over (soon), but I wanted to do the JB4 sooner.

JB4 & downpipe is highly recommended
BMS intake and chargepipe do nothing, the intake will give you some sound (induction noise) but no power, the chargepipe will litterally do nothing unless you decide to upgrade to WMI in the future (N series chargepipes had a "reputation" for cracking but this isn't the case with the B engines)
