I do not recall what the settings were after the initial flash as I did not configure anything prior to the initial flash. Yesterday I set the exhaust flap to open for sport mode in the map config and the exhaust burble to OTS and flashed. I am not sure I hear a difference.

No problem. Just a suggestion. Several people have done this with great results. Search on YouTube for vids if you're interested in hearing the difference.

I bet that having the exhaust flap open in Sport Mode was already set before you flashed. I think that's the default setting. I can't speak to the burble setting since I've never changed mine from OEM.

I have a 2018 M550 - stock - I think my car has very subtle burbles. I've heard guys cut out the resonators and it gets louder but if you tune it it gets overkill I've heard guys on the road with verbal turns in the car sounds like a machine gun. Super annoying and not classy s all

This was exactly my thinking as well. A resonator delete was a non-starter for me. I know it's under the car, but the thought of chops and ugly welds was not appealing. In addition, I cared more about having a quad tip exhaust than the sound and a resonator delete doesn't get you there.

Unfortunately, I did not get a deal or a reasonable price. I try not to think about the $4,500 bucks I spent to have quad tip, lol!

I was not looking for obnoxious noises or any popping I was just thinking what does this burble setting do cause I have a stock exhaust and changing settings didn't change much.

This is why I went with Dinan. Not obnoxious and the sound is more of an engineered sound. It's definitely not for people wanting snap, crackle, pop. It's got a really nice note to it.

Ideally that is what I aim to get for an exhaust one day.
