BMW owners who live in arizona or southwest i have a question

If anyone living in arizon or southwest where there is alot of heat and sun i just have a quick question. I found a nice used bmw in arizona for sale for a great price. its a 2004 with about 30k miles on it. my only issue is the sun is so strong there that the car might be more beat up from the sun (mainly the black leather) then it would have been here in the northeast. Does anyone who lives in the southwest notice their leather stating to fade or the leather begining to dry out after a couple of years?

It just depends on how well they cared for it. If they used the proper products then it's 100% fine. If they didn't, well - the paint and leather will definately be faded.

I've never had a problem with any of my cars out here. And that's having a few black on black cars. You gotta figure most people who have BMW's have a garage or at least a carport to park under so it should cut down on the fading. My black on black 2003 G35 was in perfect shape when I sold it just 7 months ago. If you're buying from a long distance try to get more detailed pics or even see if there's someone here on e90post close enough to inspect it for you.

Just a little side note.....If it's a black car, make sure u see a picture of the front end....the front of my car is a mess because of the sand and dust....

Most folks down here tint their windows so the leather will probably get LESS sunlight than it would up north.
