Connect phone to external antenna - does it require wireless charging phone?
I have enhanced Bluetooth on my G30 and an IPhone 5s with an aftermarket case that allows you to wirelessly charge the phone.
my question is , in order to use the external antenna, does the phone need to be wirelessly charging? I've not noticed any difference to signal strength to date by placing the phone in front of the cupholders whether I have the optional case on for wireless charging or not. My assumption is that the phone just has to be in the cubby hole in front of the cup holders. Can any one confirm? I don't often use the case as I often don't need / want to charge the phone. |
