You need to spoof location data in order to get this to work.

Or you could just sign up for the XM 3 month trial over and over again.

I finally took the plunge and buy BMW OEM apple car play. As the after market one i purchased for £49.99 was removed, when the car went in for a service and software upgrade in April. I waited 7 month to take advantage of the 20% Black friday offer and quess what its half screen car play for £212. I AM GUTTED

I have BMW OEM Carplay and originally Carplay was not full-screen. But like many others, I configured full-screen using BimmerCode.

If you don't have BimmerCode or an OBD Bluetooth dongle, do an internet search and you'll find what you need. BimmerCode's site will inform you on what dongle to purchase, and you can input your year and model, and you will see all the options you can easily configure yourself.

Probably drove it yesterday for the last time for a while as temps are below 40 and not nice to summer tires. Yesterday was 39 and sunny. Had a ball, nothing like cold compressed air on the intake with no AC compressor. The engine runs so strong and effortless.

A few weeks ago when in for service, they commented on how I am close to needed a brake fluid flush. I did it. Yesterday being December 1, I get the yellow service indicator and as suspected, the dealer forgot to reset the oil service counter. These little things annoy the hell out of me. They talk me into doing something I really think is not necessary every two years and I basically do it because I don't want to stare at a light, and they do it and I am staring at the light.

Anyway, I reset it myself.

Grrr. That happened on my oil change. The car annoys you, telling you that the world will end any minute. I couldn't reset the interval myself. I had to bring it in and they pushed the date back. Damn... Cost me about an hour of my time.

It's super easy to reset.

Triple Click the Start Button with foot off the brake (Diagnostic Mode)

Hold down the button on the bottom left of the cluster near the gas gauge (brings up service menu). Hold it again (to select to reset) and then one more time (to confirm reset).

It is annoying to have to do this myself as it should be 101 for them in terms of steps. Sloppy tech.

Thanks. I tried all of the YouTube stuff and obviously didn't get it right.
The service advisor took my key, read it and brought the car into the shop for half an hour to do whatever... Go figure!
