Hi all,

So I have a very peculiar problem . I run a high power G30 540ix. Couple people that already run that kind of power (maybe a bit more ) ran into issues already with slipping gears in the 8HP50.

One of the poeople I know swapped 8HP70 into his F car. I was thinking about doing the same as 8HP70 car supposively hold 1000nm (rated at 700 I know ).

1. Would it work if I found 8HP75 from g30 m550i / f90 m5, swapped it and used somehow their coding file?
2. Or is it better to go with 8HP70 from say 335d and try to get custom map? I know one guy here used the B4S Alpina flash I think for that.

What do you guys think is the best? I know the mechanical issues too

You would also need to have someone virginize the transmission module, just bolting a used one won't let you engage any gear due to security key mismatch between car and tranny.

Thanks! And do you know anybody who could do that? A person () or in general (like a trans tuning shops? or somebody who just does coding?).

I was thinking perhaps even trying to find 8hp75 box from g30 m550i/f90 m5 and somehow copying their file to work on it?

Or perhaps trying to flash also alpina B3s (if I went the 8hp70) or b5s (if I got the 8hp75). Would that work? And would I have to still do what you mentioned then?
