Thanks - crazy that residuals are lower for a 2021. What is BMW doing? Low loyalty too.

Trying to get rid of the 2020 models...common sense.

Sorry to disagree, but I picked up my 2021 M550 in NJ yesterday, and the 12K residual went up a percent to 58%, this month, and there is a $1000 lease credit, plus another $500 credit if you are coming off of a previous BMW lease, in addition to the $750 loyalty. I got those $2250 in credits, plus a $500 USAA credit. Maybe these are specific to my region, but that's what I received.

Could you PM me the specific line items of the discounts? I'm going to be picking up my 540 soon.

Thanks. You are 100% sure this was on a 2021?

I'm in the process of negotiating a 2021 m550. The best deal I can get right now is 6% off of MSRP. Dealer is stating that 6.3% off is MSRP is wholesale. Is this correct?, or do you think its possible for me to get a higher percentage off? The car I'm looking at has MSRP of 90K.

There is margin left. But will the dealer give you more? When I purchased my 2020 M550, I got 7% off MSRP plus $10K in Bmw rebates. Times are different now.

That sounds like invoice, NOT wholesale.
Dealer is trying to preserve his margins and adding some gravy to his turkey dinner.

Anyone placing orders for 2021? I have a feeling I might just build one and take delivery in 2-3 months and maybe get that delivery month's incentives. I got offered 10% off the bat, maybe push for 11-12%.

Do you mind sharing which dealer in the Boston area was able to provide you with this discount? Thanks

I’d guess that’s through a broker. My broker has 530/540 build slots open at 10% and 550 at 9%.

I negotiated quotes with a few dealers and couldn’t find one that would go above 9% for M550xi build. The one that did offer 9% had bumped lease MF too high. I ended up going with a broker. Glad I did, much easier process and I know the deal up front.

I went to a dealer here in the Boston area today and he came back with a $1000 discount on a 2021 m550xi. He said that was the best he could do.

Anyone know any dealers in the New England area that are bit more reasonable?

Hi,

Does anyone know what the October incentives are? It looks like there was a $2000 incentive for September for buy or lease.

Wondering same, Crypto. Looks like the money factor dropped from .00099 to .00082 for October.
