body kit rattles
hey guys i recently upgraded the audio system in my G30. i replaced the garbage 6.5 inch undetseat subs FOR the hk ones.. for amplifiers i gave each underseat driver a 1200 watt mono block amp. Issue is now when i go to eq the underseat 8s, i get a REDICULOUS amount of panel vibrations. i have 80,100,120,150,160 180 190,210, cut by 10db so the car dosent buzz.. the issue ibeleive is the m sport rocker panel. Also when i put the new hk 8 inch driver in i noticed that bmw is so cheap that they only use a 5 sided box to house the driver and the floor of the car is the bottom of the enclosure.. iam wondering if that would cause some buzzing as well.. This is a sq car being built for I.A.S.C.A.

Isn't that what happens when putting a 3000W sound system in the car? Every time a teenager with punk audio system passes me, his whole damn car rattled like there's no tomorrow.

7200 watts, and i cant have rattles... only 1 10inch sub. all amps are bridged to each speaker. just gonna dynamat and soundproof the floor of the car with 1lb M.L.V. That should stop some of the rattling...
