It might be bluestone , but not 100% on that. The brochure can be a bit inaccurate in how it displays the colours.( it portrayed bluestone immaculately on the pre lci model)

I presume in these modern times they don't have printed brochures any more?they used to have some paint samples in them.

+1

I think it's Bernina Grey. I already have 530e in Bluestone mettalic so looking to order with new color.

Another article on bmwblog.

https://www.bmwblog.com/2020/08/11/f...w-545e-xdrive/

"Our pre-production test car came with the refreshed design of the M Sport package and featured the new exterior color Bernina Grey with an amber effect."

Go to the bottom of the page to launch a gallery with 40 pics.

Same guy in pic 3, 4, 5 and after pic 8,9,10 it shows the Bernina grey.

I think it is Bernina Grey. I got that color on my 2021 5 Series and had Bluestone on my 2017 5. Bernina Gray seems like it changes colors a lot. Think it is very sleek.

Can you post some pics exterior and interior as well? What interior you went with?

It is Bernina grey for sure in the BMWblog gallery. If you follow the gallery pics with 40 pics on that webpage, you will see same guy in the driver seat in first 5 pics with grey effect on the car then after 5-8 pics car color changes due to sun light and it appears bluish. its same guy same car while they are doing test on x545e.

I also have 2018 530e Bluestone metallic and just ordered 530i in Bernina Grey.
This is my build.

I'm still in between. I have current 2018 530e in bluestone metallic. Bernina and Bluestone colors are close to each other, I think.

Since now you have Bernina grey, do you think it is similar to Bluestone your eyes used to see

It is similar at times. Bernina grey seems to change colors a lot more. That pic above is what it looks like on a sunny day, but can look more brown at times too. Then it can look more like Bluestone too.

Yeah that's what I have been comparing on google checking all the pics. My kids are saying it's same grey color which we have for the current 530e. No change at all.

Now they are looking at Carbon black which looks like Dark Navy blue on sunny day then black in the shadow.

It is definitely different than Bluestone the majority of the time.

Have to second that. I took a look at the BMW colour panel samples and it has a definate gold metallic flake vs the blue in Bluestone

No problem, fam doesn't want any light and grey color any more. Last 2 consecutive X5 - silver and 530e bluestone. Hence the reason to go with darker colors for both.
