Trim color

Just about to order a M550 in Saphire Black with black Nappa interior.
I am a bit mixed about trim color (wish they still did carbon fibre).
I am leaning toward the Fine Wood Open Pored Ash with Pearl Chrome Accent but wonder how it will look as it does have a slight bluish tinge.
Any opinions or suggestions out there?

THis is what I got to have a look at, its ash open pore, black nappa. Dont think pearl chrome was part of my spec, cant say I see a blue tinge, but that could be me Render video of cockpit :- https://webfrontend.evecp.bmw.cloud/e4c96d7

I would recommend the Fineline Ridge wood. Looks great in all lighting conditions and will make it look amazing

My car is Black Sapphire Metallic w/ black Nappa leather. I went with the aluminum rhombicle interior. I think it looks great. It's a far cry from carbon fiber but is more along the same idea. You can maybe change your interior to carbon fiber from a third-party or you'll have to get an M5 CS. 😀

You can get the aluminium dark carbon trim(the one you get it the M5) if you ask for it threw Bmw individual manufaktur. I did and still very satisfied. Think it would look great with your black interior and exterior.

I got the fine wood open pore ash in my 2022 540i and I love it.

I also think the gray poplar is very nice but it's nice not having shiny interior trim. Definitely no blue hue or tint.

Thanks. Looks good. The bluish tinge must have been something reflecting in the showroom.
I did look into the Carbon Fibre but of course they wanted $100o for that!

That's the same interior spec I got haven't actually seen one in person. Definitely happy I made this choice.

Here are some pictures of my open pored ash. Black Nappa and Tanzanite blue exterior. The ash flows perfectly with the aluminum trim and black leather dash. Definitely no blue hue. I am very happy with the choice.

How do you like the leather dash? Any issues with care and cleaning?
I added it to my options since it has a really professional look to it.

I love it. It really adds to the quality feel of the car. No regrets.
