G30 530D Ac Schnitzer Tuning
Hey all, so i have done a few searched but can't seem to find anybody that's bought the AC Schnitzer piggy-back tuning box.
I just wondered if anybody had bought this and how you find it? I'm incredibly tempted with the Racechip, however, after a little digging it seems that the transmission is only rated to 700nm (probably why the AC Schnitzer is quite conservative at 705nm). Anybody been running a racechip long term? Maybe I am super cautious but putting 786nm through a 700nm transmission feels a little risky!! |

I was considering Schnitzer, but the price.. for looked better to get rid of this car and order the same, but 540d instead.. difference is nearly the same..
As for transmission - i wouldn't care if you planning to do <100 miles. BMW's (ZF) transmission is veeery reliable. New M5 shares same gearbox instead of double clutch one. but i'm the same as you are - looking for best solution..

It is the torque converter that I am unsure about, I have very little knowledge of these and ratings etc. The more I read the more I am tempted with the Racechip! |
