Anyone know the diameter of the exhaust outlet of the Remus muffler for the 540i, or the exhaust tip inlet size. I'd like to find a brushed finish tip set for it, instead of polished, black, or carbon. I haven't bought my exhaust yet. Shopping in advance.

there is a 2-3 month wait time for the Remus system so best to get your order in! i believe inlet is 60mm the OD is 102mm, the measurements should be on the Remus website

They have measurements listed but they say something about 2x60mm into 1x82mm, or something, which is confusing since the tips are 102mm, and there is no 2 into 1 pipe section.

Those measurements are more for the midpipe actually which splits into 2*60mm pipes.

When I roughly measured mine when I got it the pipe exit diameter for the tips was 60mm~

I've been carbon tips on the way with ID of 60mm so I hope they fit!

There definitely was a wait awhile back but a few weeks ago there was a bunch of Remus exhaust systems that must have landed stateside because they were pretty readily available. I may have a contact that has 1-2 Remus cat-back systems in stock if anyone is looking for one now.

Either way, it’s worth the wait and also worth every penny. I have the cat-back system installed with CF tips on my LCI and it sounds incredible.

Feel free to DM if you need or want more info about this exhaust.

The Remus CF are shorter and wider than the ones pictured above. I can probably get you pics and measurements for you tomorrow if you’d like.

By the way, that's the length of the tip outer shell, not the diameter of the exit pipe.

The circumference of the exhaust tips are 102mm each and the size of the circumference of the 4 muffler tailpipes that attach to each tip is 60mm.
