530e Seat question (lumbar support)
Took delivery about 10 days ago of a new 530e. Love the car, but have an issue with the driver seat and was curious if other people had a similar experience before I call my dealer. Specifically, when sitting in the driver's seat (has the US Standard sport seats), I feel a hard pressure on my lower back at the very bottom or slightly below where the lumbar support "inflates" if it is turned on. It is present even when lumbar is totally off. I do not seem to feel it if I go over and sit in the passenger seat (but obviously can't drive it from there! ). Anyone else have that experience? Is this just a "shape of the seat" / "need to break it in" thing, or a something not working right on the lumbar support thing? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks! Andrew |

I don't have that problem in my 530e; either the lumbar isn't totally set to minimum or it isn't working, would be my guess. Try turning it to maximum and then all the way to minimum to see if that helps.
