How do you "turn on apps" for Pixel 5 on ID6?

I've been trying to get AAIdrive app working with my 2018 540i (iDrive6) but can't find the way to "turn on apps" in the ID menu options. The below thread supposedly works for ID6 but I have a feeling he is confused and the steps are for ID7.

I have installed AAIdrive and have a current ConnectedDrive subscription. Has anyone else had luck with this?

Nevermind. It just randomly started working on its own. Apps checkbox appeared and Spotify, et al is listed, now.
