Too much wind noise/buffeting around side mirror. Agree?

And if you agree have you found any remedy? Thanks,

Agreed at this price point of car. Took it to my dealership and they said it was within normal range. Disappointing answer. My remedy was adding a louder exhaust system!

Agree, and same lame answer from dealer! F10 did not have noticeable noise in the side mirror area.

I've mentioned before that you can seal the gaps between the coloured shell and the black body with silicon rubber. Mask carefully use a fine nozzle. It certainly helps .

Never noticed personally , certainly at UK speeds. Can't speak for autobahn speeds though

Roughly What speed is it of concern?

For me anything considered interstate speeds ie 65 mph plus.

Regarding sealing the seals on the mirror, I have experimented sealing every possible joint on the side of the car: mirrors, doors, trim, etc. I used blue painters tape.

I also replaced the triangle seal where the mirror mounts to the door.

No difference.

With window down it's loud, sunroof tilted is reasonably quiet, open is loud. Otherwise drive up to even 90mph seems fine to me, other than I don't like how the run flat feel at that speed, feel a bit "unsettled"

That was it! I was driving with the windows down. Why didn't I think of that?

Non issue for me. The car is amazingly quiet at highway speeds.
