Thank you... i dont get how people can like that flat dash with that stupid screen. That stupid mouse thing on the center console is horrible and very cumbersome to use. The column gear selector is too old school and no fun in a sporty driving situation when you arent using paddle shifters. MB is just different and IMO i hate it.

The way Porsche Panamera has done with it's screen integration is way cooler and more modern than that cheap looking screen of G30. |

G30 over Eclass in every way......New E is hideous and interior design is for 50+ old women.
Panamera puts both of them to shame.

But, G30 exterior is a step up from F10 IMO. Have to see one in person to judge, though. |

Drove the new E Class about 2 weeks ago. First thing i've noticed was how "tight" the interior was. I don't know what it is with the new C and E but the interiors feel quite cramped. Poor design in terms of space management imo.
The one thing i truly dislike about the g30 is the tail lights. They have a certain cheap look. Same thing for the m4... Idk bmw is lacking when it comes to tail lights. Still using halogen and shit come on bmw! It's almost 2017... Waiting for lci to get leds is ridiculous |

I don't think the current E class is much of a threat to the new 5, based on initial impressions. The new 5 is a handsome car with well balanced proportions and sharp styling. The E is awkwardly styled, with an odd, bulbous rear and an over-stated front end, not to mention the woeful range of engines in the UK. Will be interesting to see what the journos say when they compare the new 5 with the 2nd gen Jag XF, however

I just picked up my new e350d a few days ago.
I also own an f80 and a e92 m3. although I don't have a lot of miles under the belt yet for now what I can say is if you have stressful day at the office and just want to get home at the end of the day in rush hour traffic, there's no other car I would rather be in then in my e class. the safety features in this car is in a league of its own like pre safe hearing and side impact protection. I also drove the new 730d and the e class is much much more silent. the autonomous driving in this car is in another league. the one in the 7 is more of a hit and miss especially the steering assist. |

The interior although familiar by now in detail, refelects a sense of higher quality that takes it to another level from F10. The real point will be how they differ in dynamics. I really hope the BM pulls an M2 and comes back to that hallowed BMW experience. |
