I assume you mean the cost of the new g30 compared to the cost of a used f10? It's kind of a funny way to put it...you could say that about any new car vs used. that's like saying its worth the extra 60% for the new 7 series because the resale value of that car sinks like a stone.

F10 M sport with proper wheels still looks amazing to me and most people I know. I'm not saying this because I'm keeping my F10. It's time for a new car
G30 looks great too! Can't wait to see and test the m550d.

Most of them can't justify they're opinion on y they hate the car. They just say that Mercedes is better or that it looks like a 3 series Lots of this type of crap and to me these opinions mean nothing. Bunch a kids and trolls on YouTube. I'm also pretty sure that most of these fucks have never driven a German car...

As I have said before, the G30 is a parallel move in design from the F10, the differences are too subtle, where as the F10 was a move forward in design from the E60, a leap in design architecture. The same can be said between the E60 and E39, they look nothing alike.

The one thing I will miss about the F10 is the current lcd dashboard for the speedometer, gear shift lever and steering wheel... Can't wait to see the new gen in person. Been considering a Tesla for quite some time now but the M3 just gets me...

Might be in the minority here, but the F10 looks far, far more elegant and classy. As a 5 series should be.

I've had 2 F10s (2011 and 2014) and loved them both. Looking forward to my new G30, arriving shortly. One great model leads to the next!

When the marketing department needs to make a video showing the difference between 2 generations of cars, something is really wrong!!!

Lol what? The outgoing 5 series has one of the most dated looking interiors of the current BMW lineup as well as the X3 and X4. I know a lot of people hate the free standing screen but it just looks fresh and open like there is a lot more space.

Never liked the way the F10 looked, hated it when I drove it. It's a bulbous, floaty boat lacking tension in design and execution. Absolutely love the way the G30 looks, hopefully the drive will back up the looks.

The new one design is way more cohesive. That is how the 5 series should be. The F10 did nothing for me. I never thought of buying one. Plus that ugly hood cut line. It seems bmw was just fed up and used a box cutter to make that hood cut line. The G30 looks very nice.

F10 is the better looking car to me, especially the interior. I really hate the tablet shoved onto the dash look of the G30 vs the integrated iDrive of the F10. That said, the F10 drives like a Buick. If the G30 drives like a BMW, then that alone is a worthy upgrade.

Both cars look great. Waaaay better than benz E class. Haven't yet seen G30 in flesh, but F10 has certainly been the best looking sedan in its class for a long time.
This comparison should've included F10 LCD gauges (not available in US).

In a year, the F10 will look dated and everyone will be happy or at least used to the G30 - including the controversial nav screen. Marketing has a way of adjusting our eyes.
Except the current X5. Have never felt the love for that thing. |
