There are 2 versions of iPhone 6 case and one is without acces to the port which is silly.
I ordered both and want to decide which looks better.

Agreed. Knowing Apple, if it's not flat out proprietary tech, it will most likely be MFi. Apple dropped all promises of interoperability and use of standards a long time ago; much more money to be made by keeping people inside a tightly managed eco system... main reason why I dropped iOS devices (and I'm clenching my jaw hoping MacOS won't follow).
