Sat morning. It's flipping sitting in a compound round the back so only caught a glimpse of it.

Thanks all. Super pleased with it. I've driven only a little since collection and just playing with setting and config so far but have to say I don't regret any of the options so far. The only thing I can put my finger on that I'd choose to not buy if it weren't already bundled in a pack is the ambient air scent things.
4 zone - functionally the jury is still out there and of course the kids are constantly faffing about with it but visually it's better than 2 zone and it came with premium pack and once the kids get a little older they'll appreciate it too. The ride is fabulous. Bear in mind I'm coming from an E61 se suspension and I handed back the f31 with adaptive suspension about 2 years ago. Rugged potholey parts of the road that we always have to avoid in the other cars are barely a vibration now. I felt the f31 did that but had more roll but it also felt much closer to the ground - I can see why people who don't need the size would still opt for more agile smaller chassis'. But put it in sport and it all tightens up. Going around corners deceptively faster than I could before and not even feeling the roll. Had wet roads yesterday too and it just destroyed the country roads. I need to spend a lot more time before I can be more focussed about what I think. Initially active cruise is awesome but lane assist is very hit and miss on normal (non motorway/highway) roads. Got a 300 mile trip to my folks next weekend so will no doubt try it all out then!!! Remote parking is a bit of a gimmick mainly coz you need the big key to do it (the standard keys are already larger than the old ones). But I can still see myself using it down the line. Need to figure out all the driver profile things etc and my universal remote control doesn't seem to work on my garage door. All good stuff to work out in due course. The indicator stalk change I can live with. But the wiper stalk is a bit lame. They really shouldn't have caved and should have kept the sticky stalk. First time with HUD and it's great. So much more time with eyes on the road or close enough to it. I really like med blue. I think carbon would have been too dark for me coz med blue is dark already. Loving cognac too. Obviously cubby plasticness is lame but the inner part is more rubbery. It's actually a weird shape cubby but I will get some felt to line it. Oh the little qi adapter I bought for my phone worked really well. So I can get my iPhone 6s Plus with the standard apple case into the tray. It's a snug fit but it gets in! The driver warning alerts all seem to be doing their jobs well. Lots to learn and more to get used to! Ok enough. Wifey giving me death stares. First I'm messing with the car all weekend now I'm on my phone again!

Mate it looks lush, love the pictures too. Looks great inside and out. I wasnt sure about that color when i was looking in the showroom as it wasnt on any of the cars and the pics didnt do it justice. But the color does look really good in your pics. Inside looks great too with the night scene with the ambient light. Cant wait for mine now, will be joining you in the north east cruising. congratulations again and happy driving. |

Thanks. I really think it's one of those colours that reacts well to its ambient lighting. Even in the pics I got I got different tones. I love the colour - really think the cognac with med blue is a bit of a classic.
