Why would he do that? He was broke and desperate for cash. Why take an unpaid position? Strange. Very strange.

If there were any Russian collusion, Mueller would not be spending so much time prosecuting someone for something unrelated that occurred 12 years ago.

How much time is Mueller spending on Manafort's trial? From what I can tell, most of the prosecutorial team is not working for Mueller and Mueller himself has not been in court, soooo.......

Turn of Fox News for just 5 minutes and read the Manafort indictment yourself.

So
Just read the indictment. The more you dig in and hold onto that claim, the sillier you look to everyone else who took 5 minutes to skim through it. it's not a good look for you. Just trying to help you out.

Now it appears Cohen is being investigated for tax fraud. Manafort and Gates charged with tax fraud. Trump would not release his tax returns. Got me thinking...Will Trump ultimately go down for tax fraud as opposed to conspiracy with the Russians?

Is a sitting president immune from prosecution for crimes committed prior to his/her election?

Isn't Trump the one who brought up Al Capone?

No. Money laundering is the thing they'll go down for. Tax fraud too, but that's Bs in my eyes compared to money laundering.

Washing money was not very hard before 9/11. They kept doing it even after it. If you're against drugs, human trafficking, terrorism, corruption and other shit like that, money laundering is the thing you need to focus on. That's the crime that makes the other crimes worth coming them.

In Nixon v Fitzgaerald the Supremes said the president is immune from prosecution for damages of a CIVIL nature that are caused by presidential acts WHILE in office. There was commentary along with this decision that the president is not immune from CRIMINAL charges stemming from acts while in office.

As yet we don’t know if any crimes were committed PRIOR to the president being elected. There are no known public facts proving he committed a crime or crimes and there are no known public facts proving that he didn’t commit a crime or crimes. IF the investigation documents crimes were committed by the president one of two things will happen as far an indictment is concerned as a matter of law.

1.) An indictment will be issued while the president is in office for which he must answer or

2.) indictment will be delayed until the president is no longer in office.

Keep in mind if strong evidence of crime exists prosecutors are duty bound to indict. Just my opinion here: if evidence of a crime or crimes exists, special counsel will indict when the president in no longer in office. I think this would be moderately likely in order to prevent or interfere with the president’s duties while in office.

He may not have been paid as in not receiving a salary but he was”paid” handsomely in contacts with influential people and access to the person in the most powerful position in the world. That by itself was/is worth millions if not the potential of billions of dollars.
