245/40 R 19 98H MS All Season Run Flats
I am getting the low tire pressure warning (but OK to Drive)
Tires are 245/40 R 19 98H MS All Season Run Flat tires. I have 31 PSI in the fronts and 35 PSI in the rears cold as of this morning, What are the suggested pressures ? I don't want to over fill the run flats and have a harsh ride. I am unsure if my door sticker is accurate as these were optional wheels and tires at the time of purchase. Thanks in advance for any experience or guidance. |

The door sticker should reflect the actual tires installed on the vehicle regardless if they were an option

Max PSI should be listed on the outside of each tire.
Assuming they're the Pirelli Cinturato tires in the size you mentioned then max PSI is 50 according to TireRack: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...LMOE&tab=Sizes With that said, I don't ever run the max, however, if you're at 31psi then not surprised the light is on. My recommendation would be to fill them to around 40-42 PSI or until the light goes off. Everyone will have their specific preference for PSI ranges so the main thing you want to do is get enough air in the tire so the light is longer on without overinflating them like you mentioned.

Don't EVER put the max pressure in your tires. Do whatever the door sill tells you for manufacturer designated ride quality and handling characteristics.
Now, me personally, I'll sacrifice tire life for some ride quality, and BMW's suggestions are way too high for me. 32 all around, cold, is fine. Set the iDrive tire setting to "other" and then perform a reset. Disclaimer: If I'm taking the M2 to the track, then I'm bumping up the pressure significantly, especially up front.
