You know RKTunes is in New York, right?

You know what's happening around the world, right?

Stage 1 refers to stock downpipes, which would mean less power than having catless/hfc downpipes.

Well , in that case you should be tuned primarily on 91 as your daily tune. And the e85 tune , should be your secondary tune in that event it will be for the days you can source e85 readily .
Still wondering with the e85 tune from RK.

Do you have to run 93 with e85 mixed all the time? Can you run it with 93 octane alone?

If you get an ethanol tune, running anything less than the combination (be it E30/E50 or whatever) is not something you should do. Your engine will not like it. If you don't have ready access to E85, I strongly suggest you stick with a 91/93 tune (note that most 93 tunes are aggressive, meaning they expect good quality 93, and that is not a common finding).

Wonder if RK tune made modification to its tune?
Yeah, they really went out of their way and I did a whole ton of research / asking questions and these guys really knew what they were doing and put me at ease . We spent about a day on the Dyno and he kept revising . It's all In tune !!!.
That's awesome!

What brand downpipes do you have?
Armytrix and exhaust is Armytrix as well.
Wow. When I read the thread I just assumed it was a 2020+ model with the higher hp motor…. But a 2019 doing it, wow.

So tempting…but I have a CPO warranty…. :

I have a Stage 2 E50 tune coming from Jordan this week (coming from the Stage 2 E30 OTS tune on bm3). Given that there are only 4 M550i's that broke 10's, and I'm at 11.29 now, I hope to be the 5th.

Now that XHP has released the G30 trans flash I'm hoping to get there as soon as it dries out here in Illinois. My best prior to the trans flash is 11.08.

Are you looking at the dragy leader board for this stat?

Correct. If it's not on Dragy or a time slip, we have no way to determine validity.

Don't have my E50 tune just yet, but did install xHP last Friday, and my 1/4 is down to 11.18, all other things not having changed (went Stage 3 with some individual settings). I should see the first rev of the tune today, so we'll see where things land after.

I can see seven M550i's in the 10.xx bracket on dragy leaderboard. 11.07 gets into the top 10 spot.

Check the years. Because you know, they matter. Different engines in the 20/21's vs. the 18's and 19's (TU3 vs. TU2).

So, when I say only 4 others, I mean of my same engine, which I feel are the direct 'competition', whereas comparing to a car who from the factory has 73hp/tq more really isn't valid. (and now it's 5 others, based on looking today)

I would agree. We will see some fast 20/21s once ECU tuning is more common. Likely not as fast as M5s but I reckon we will see low 10s on E30 and Meth injection. Though the challenge will be upgrades to transfer case and front diff that already break on the 18/19s. I don't think anyone knows if the M5 transfer case will fit (I suspect it should).
