I’ve seen it mounted under the car on a couple install videos. I have this product on order right now but I honestly don’t even think I need it with this new Remus exhaust. If I want loud I just go sports + if I want quiet I go comfort. Can’t really think of a great use case where I would really need a separate remote to control the valves any further than is allowed by factory.

Prior to having this exhaust installed it seemed like a worthwhile purchase but I’m having second thoughts. May have a unit for sale if anyone is in need of one.

I've just received mine and will be installing it soon.

I've convinced myself that it'd be great to hear the full sound when trundling around too, ie at 5% throttle the valves will be closed even in sport plus so you don't get that nice burble when cruising around at slower speeds, so this will force that. I'd fit it, see if you care for it or not and then sell it on if not, or even just leave it in "serial" mode most of the time, it's not THAT expensive!

I dunno what’s up but I get burbles everywhere. At low speeds off throttle in almost every gear. As long as I’m in sports + I get burbles.

It’s nothing to do with prices as it’s cheap. Just saying from a sound perspective I don’t think I need it as the exhaust is louder than expected to begin with.

plug it and see then i guess? Then can have it louder in comfort or eco too if you want. Also, valves open at start-up is nice!

Ya I guess I may try. My 2022 had the option in I drive to select engine sound preferences which I’m pretty sure based on the noise opens the valves on cold start when selected

Just went for first ride with the girl in the car and I put sport + on, first burble she goes “what was that!?” I explained, she says “isn’t that annoying!?” I reply absolutely not and then explain how it’s loud when I want it to be and quiet when it’s in “regular girlfriend mode”.

Keep in mind her dad buys a brand new zo6 every year **facepalm**

mine gets delivered today. My remus catback, SST valve controller, and RW carbon diffuser are getting installed on september 11th. im super excited!

FYI i installed this against the bar behind the bumper, by removing the cover under the diffuser
