Loudest Possible Exhaust Setup for M550 with stock downpipes
I have been searching the forums for a while now and can't seem to figure out whats the loudest possible exhaust setup.
I want to have valves, whether thats the oem or aftermarket ones, but it needs to be as loud as possible without changing downpipes? Any reccomendations? I already have the resonators deleted, but it's still not loud enough. Have been leaning towards replacing the OEM muffler with valvetronic mufflers, but am not sure. Have heard the remus axleback and the dinan aren't much louder. |

Delete the mufflers to get the loudest sound.
It's not the best sound, but that's not what you asked.

How’s the armytrix system, that seems to be the loudest sound and it retains valves? I don’t want to cut the muffler out and lose valves completely, I rather replace it with a louder valved system. |

it's not my cup of tea as I prefer a deeper tone, but if that's what you are looking for it's a good option.

So I had a custom piece made up so I could use the armytrix axle back portion with my stock resonated midpipe. Sounds much better now to me. |

Is Remus or dinan axleback mufflers a significant difference from the stock muffler? That was my original plan but I didn’t want to deal with the oem valves, but I recently also discovered a valve controller from dinan. |

Dinan is a close second but more on the mild side.
