Diffuser / Front Lip

Hey guys,

Have been reading and following along on a bunch of your guys' builds and figured it's time to finally join in.

Recently purchased a used carbon black 2019 bmw 540xi with 22k miles. Purchased an OEM rear spoiler that will be painted gloss black and installed soon.

Wanted your recommendations and opinions on where I can purchase the M performance style rear diffuser that the 550's come with, in gloss black. As well as a matching front lip.

20% window tints and 50% windshield
Gloss black front grille
(Current rear spoiler being swapped for OEM)

This is how the car currently sits. Excited for how she'll turn out.

Car looks clean. What part of NY you at?
Ebay would be your best bet for lip and diffuser as well as side skirt extensions.

My front and rear lips fitted perfectly from Ebay.. The rear diffuser not so perfect

…agreed, the rear diffuser fitment from eBay is like "hit or miss". I purchased two rear diffusers from different vendors last year in order to accommodate my Remus exhaust quad tips, and they did not work. Bottom line, folks might have to pay to get that perfect fitment from established companies.

If you change your mind on going gloss black spoiler, I have a Carbon Black Metallic OEM spoiler in perfect condition. Removed from mine.

I got my M-Performance knock off diffuser off eBay. Very happy with everything about it.

Another vote for eBay here. I know it's hit or miss, but gauging from the feedback on the forums and my personal experience, it's mostly hits, and at the ridiculous price point, you really can't do better. Had a 3-pc front lip, rear wing and skirts from eBay for my Black Sapphire M340i (already painted gloss black) shipped to my door for under $350; excellent fitment. Rinse/repeat for the M550i I just picked up, hopefully the fitment should be similar here too.

I ordered diffuser and front lip off of eBay. Crossing my fingers that everything will fit. Went off of a bunch of sources and links on previous threads.

Will update you all when they've arrived and are installed 🙏🏽

Read reviews and hoping the M550i rear diffuser that everyone recommended will fit properly on my car

My tails are OEM. Amazon, eBay and Ali predominantly push the knockoff. I got them from M-Power Motorsports from Abdul
