Carbon Fibre Sharkfin

Hey guys,

Just wanted some opinions on this:

My cousin recently got himself a carbon fibre shark fin antenna for his 5 series (G30), even though it's a small cosmetic mod but currently stuck between wrapping my shark fin antenna or getting a carbon fibre (preferably) cover for it.

Anyone done this before and what are your thoughts about carbon fibre going together with colours other than white (its the only colour i know that never goes wrong with carbon fibre..

) or should I just go with the wraps instead?

That's an overlay, not a replacement. I would try that route vs. wrap. The question is will it interfere with the antenna's functionality.

It's cheap enough to try. I personally would get it off Amazon (Prime) for a hassle free return. This shit all comes from the same place.

I had one from either eBay or Amazon. The reception from XM radio was spotty.

Has anyone tried to wrap their antenna fin? If so, how was your XM reception?

I went and had my shark fin antenna carbon fiber wrapped and it still has good XM reception.
