668m Wheels on 540i

So I sold my wheels to someone with a 2017 540i with m sport package. Based on my research, his old wheels (19” 664m’s) should have the same offset as the 668m’s. He’s mounted 245/35r20 and 275/30r20 tires on the rims. For some reason, the inner portion of the passenger side front rim is rubbing against part of the brake assembly located at the top of the rim. Has anyone had a similar experience installing 668m wheels on a 540i? Any thoughts on what the problem might be would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Cant comment on 668's on a 540, but in IMO the 668 wheel is one of the sexiest BMW wheels i've seen. The contrast from silver to grey is striking.
The BMW Engineer who designed these is an artist/genius.

Is it possible that rims are front specific?

As things stand tight now, most likely explanation is that installers put a rear wheel in front, thinking they were square. Stay tuned…

You got it. Installer put a rear wheel up front thinking they were square. Problem solved.
