Electric towbar problem, it won't go back, just error message, have tried to tap it, read that common problems on some models, some change a gear in the electric motor, found gears on ebay for most models, but not for G30/G31 2018, does anyone know if it is the same gear wheel on other models that fits the G30?

Thanks, I honestly have never heard of that. Probably a non-U.S. option if OEM.

Kind of like the old '80's and '90's C4 Corvette pop up headlight motor problem in which the plastic gears turned to dust but metal gears were available from aftermarket vendors. --Bob
