Seems to becoming a common fault. I replaced my switch assembly with a second hand one from eBay. Symptoms were occasional unresponsive bc and hba buttons progressing over a year to the point whereby the the buttons would only work when indicating left and slightly pressing forward on the stalk. Infuriating.
Seems you can’t buy just the stalk either. Though a used clockspring with both stalks was fairly cheap on eBay. The one I got was 2020 dated and works perfectly.
