Here's a little sampling of what a "chipped" 335i can do with LSD
Note he has the aftermarket quaife LSD installed, procede ecu tuning and catback exhaust, most like pushing 370 whp in this video with procede v2 (not yet realeased to the public). A quaife lsd is 1500.00, which I will be getting on my 135i. Procede 1,300.00. Our little 1er's will be little beasts! |

Try spaying PAM in the wheel wells next time. Makes clean up easier. Put on some old school underground-punk next time, I want to see you guys drive to that stuff instead... |

Dreadful music. You gotta' wear high heels to listen to that crap...the two lads in the 335i appeared to be enjoying the ride.

ohh the music is fine, if you don't like it listen to the tires
I didn't really like the catback either. I guess the V2 has been tested for a while now, must suck for you 335i guys watching this and dieing for V2. It would be nice to see an identically setup car w/ swaybars going sideways and compare how much it flattened out. I would have liked to see the porsche's sideways more as well. edit: after watching it again its nice to know vishnu tests are thorough  and i wanna see the tire popping! |

seen the video on youtube..
yes, the music choice could be better..something like Danger Zone ...from Top Gun soundtrack would have been better. have you guys seen the 335i doing 160 mph when it gets passed by a Porsche 997 ? do a search on youtube.com for 335i vs 997... Can't wait to get my hand on a 135i! Come on spring 08 ! :roundel: |

The cheezy music does compliment the cheezy driving apparent in the video. Quit wasting those expensive tires on jerkoff burnouts and powerslides and show us a proper hot lap, Vishnu!

Let's hope Quaife will make a limited slip for the 135i.
I have the impression the housing is not the same as for the 335, because of the new nifty 135i diff features and construction (roller bearings). In addition to this, I'm sure you know that post-March 07 production 335's have welded parts in the diff, which means you need to get a stock non-welded diff housing and rings, then install the Quaife in it. This raises the price considerably, to over $3k or more... Again let's hope the 135i won't get this treatment.
