To me the real question comes down to this,

If I/you owned a business that makes Titanium exhaust systems, how much would you charge for your time and your quality of work?

With a few considerations:
1. Material
2. Cost of equipment
3. Research and Development
4. Fitment (Trial & Error)
5. Material Waste
6. Welding
7. Testing
8. Your time
9. Marketing
10. Not to mention Business expenses. (Employees, Building …etc.)

Most successful business men will tell you, if you are selling a product for a dollar you have to be able to buy or make it for around 12 cents in order to cover most of your expenses and time.

I’m not here to advocate for any exhaust system manufacturer even though I love my Akra exhaust. But my point is, if you feel that you are not getting your money’s worth for a product, do not buy it.

I love my BMW, but I have people always telling me that they are overpriced. Tell that to my smile after a spirited drive.

Just my 2 cents

Great attention to detail. I like the sound, but it's just hard to justify paying that much more for it, over an M performance exhaust which sounds just as good.

The Akrapovic system retains the use of the OEM valve system.

I have been checking out Dinan, AA, and AWE exhausts, but will buy Akrapovic. AWE costs around $500 less than Akrapovic but is not Titanium made, I think the difference worth spending in this system. I am a fan of Dinan but looks too cheap.

wow 500 less only? where are you buying a full akra system for 3800?

We highly suggest installing downpipes as well! The Rear Section alone will sound very close to stock... Audible levels are nearly the same, just a higher pitch.
