I picked up my 2021 M550 on Tuesday, October 20--exactly two weeks ago. I filled out the BMW CCA form and submitted the required information for the rebate online that day.

Today I received my check! This used to take months.

Either they have really stepped up their game, or I got lucky.

Either way, a nice surprise in the mail today.

I hope other Car Club members make out as well.

My guess is that they have seen a drop in applications now that BMW forced them to add a cooling off period. Meaning you need to ha e your membership for a few months before you can qualify for the rebate. Back when I joined you could get a 3Y membership and apply for the rebate on the same day.

My M550 should be in my possession in about 3 weeks. What is the process in order to apply for the rebate? Do I need to enroll/register now? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have never done this before and would love to put cash back in my pocket.

In January the rules were changed to require you to have your membership for at least 6 months before you're eligible for the rebate. So you wouldn't be eligible if you joined now and take possession in three weeks unfortunately.

Mine took 3 weeks. I picked up my 2021 M550 on Sept 1, submitted the CCA form on Sept 2, it was approved on the Sept 18 and the check arrived on Sept 23rd.

I also got my check in less than 2 weeks was surprised and extremely happy
