Lightbulb 2021 Cadillac Escalade (38" Curved OLED Screen in Dash!)

It WILL sell! Now that we've gotten that outta the way...

I like it! It does what it does, well. I really like the design language of GM for their big SUV's. And if what you desire is a "Big, Bold, Comfy AF, Tech laden, Flashy, Luxo Road Yacht" then THIS is your ship.

That side profile shot is hilarious. That might be the flattest front end on any car ever. It’s a WALL haha.

I like it too. If I needed a giant suv, it would be near the top of the list.

That OLED screen. AKG Studio Reference sound system, 36 speakers powered by three amplifiers that deliver 28 channels.

I like seeing their new inline-6 diesel is available. That thing is getting 33mpg in the 1500 pickups on the highway.

Long over due, I love the new interior. Exterior doesn't look drastically different but its nice. The new dash kinda reminds me of the taycan, I guess because of the curved aspect.

Hate to say it, but this will probably be my next car. With our fourth kid on the way, this will be easier to get them in and out of compared to an x7.

Nice to see a Cadillac interior finally look worth its high price, now lets hope the materials live up to that price unlike past models.

Looks good, didn't expect much of an update to the traditional brick design. Definitely prefer the chrome look, the black accents just don't work on the front or side in my opinion. Screen looks cool and nicely configurable, although aren't OLED's known for burn in?

Like OP said, this will definitely sell, as the Escalade always has well even with its flaws.

Love that the press photos show an average of 11mpg

I like it... seems that Cadillac finally got serious about interiors... the OLED displays look like they finally have modern resolution and the overall layout is high end.

Wasn't too fond of the front end, but it has grown on me. I wanna know what we are looking at in terms of pricing here. The long boi (ESV) looks even bigger.

Taking cues from BMW it seems. Guess this is a new trend now.

Yeah, my wife drives a long Escalade, I poked my head into an X7, it was a joke if you actually plan on using the 3rd row.

Its nice to see that they finally got rid of the column shift leaver.

I guess I am in the minority. I think the new screens look chunky and not attractive at all. They look like they were simply stuck on rather than designed integrally.

I could not buy this car. I would have to stare at these screens everytime I got in.

I am not bothered by them, when they are lit up they look good. I am concerned about them long term however. We have had our screen replaced once, and the onstar module replaced, both at our cost. I also wonder (assume) that Cadillac is using their own 'software' the CUE system on the current Escalade (my wifes car) is far inferior to the system in my ZL1.

This looks like a pretty good offering for the segment, where Cadillac really falls apart is the service department experience, and it would be so easy for them to fix.
1. Have service loaners available, GM makes plenty of shitty Cadillac branded cars, and honestly I don't care if my loaner is another brand. Just make it easy like BMW, Porsche, Mercedes and Audi.
2. Wash the damn car before you return it.
