New tyre fitted has strange white mark, is it faulty? Help please

I've had a new Pirelli 275/35 R19 (Cinturato P7) fitted just yesterday, but it has this strange white mark on the tread. Is it faulty? What is it? Any advice appreciated.

I'd def take it straight back to the tire shop. That looks like belt showing, almost as if the mold wasn't centered correctly when the cast the rubber.
