I don't have trunk kick sensors on my car, so would the OEM F90 M5 diffuser fit perfectly? Do I have to make any other modifications other than the ones that you mentioned, or is it pretty much "plug&play" if I'm doing custom exhaust + no trunk kick sensor? |

It should be possible to get the stock M5 diffuser to fit, but you will need the F90 exhaust support (Product number 51-12-8-065-846) in order to make the cutouts from the diffuser to line up correctly. Otherwise you will end up exposing parts of the G30 exhaust support through the M5 diffuser, the reason being, as r33_RGSport mentioned, that the M5 exhausts are more towards the center. Part 1, 5 and 6 on the F90 are identical to the G30. Part 3 (exhaust support), 4 and 19 are what you need for this modification. The whole rear panel might have to be removed to install the exhaust support. I've seen someone from Turkey and Korea using OEM M5 parts on a G30. The guy from Turkey spent over 30k USD on the conversion from a 520i, the only thing missing being the M5 engine and seats. |

Biggest issue was the exhaust. I have Dinan and it wasn't clearing the diffuser. We needed to start doing custom work on the exhaust, also changing where the hangers were sitting etc... so I just said forget it. It was taking to much time and the cost kept going up. |

Did you end up returning the parts to the dealer? My dealer doesn't take returns, so I have to be 100% sure that it will work if I were to do this in the future. |

It wasn't aligning up right to the diffuser opening on one side. This was even before the tips for the exhaust were attached.
The hangers for the exhaust definitely had to be relocated if I wanted to go through with the m5 diffuser. We did take of the rear panel. Yeah the shop I was working with ended up returning the parts. We never went through with it because all of the custom work that was required, so I'm not 100 percent sure on fitment for those parts but we didn't see any reason why they wouldn't fit. I'm surprised your dealership doesn't accept returns on parts |

So I have the carbon fiber MP pro rear spoiler and the RW carbon fiber rear diffuser, the weave pattern are almost identical between both also. RW seems to be a good option at half the cost |

With that being said, I haven't heard of any complaints from consumers or forum members on RW Carbon products for discoloration. However if that is the case, I would not think twice about spending the extra money for the OEM part. I installed a carbon fiber rear diffuser on my car from RW last week, so it's pretty much new now. But I will keep an eye out on it to see if I'm noticing changes over time. I felt like my car was missing some aggressiveness in the back. I was looking for an OEM rear diffuser in this style but couldn't find anything so I pulled the trigger on the one from RW |

Late to the party... Wanted to know if I’d need the F90 exhaust support part if I was installing a 2019 M5 competition exhaust along with a factory M5 diffuser on a 2019 M550?

You would need to relocate the hangers, and also do some custom exhaust work for it to be able to align up with the rear bumper properly |
