I'd rock the Dinan badge if I got the whole package like OP did.

Two updates... Here are new pics with the black tips. The silver tips are very cool, but I think the black fit the character of the car a bit better. Thoughts? I'll be selling the silver (only 6 days old) if I keep the black.
I initially commented about the Dinan springs lowering the front more than expected. As it turns out, a Dinan rep contact me and let me know there had been a shipping mistake. A box of 4 rear springs was shipped instead of 2 front and 2 rear. They are stepping right up to rectify the mistake. They will ship new front springs to the shop that installed them and cover installation. It's a bit of a hassle, but they are handling it well. The front drop should end up matching the rear relative to scale when all is done. I've also ordered spacers from RG Sport. |

My buddy had a BMW perf shop actually install rears on front and front on rears. He didn't realize until he was back up here 90miles north of Miami :/. Great to hear Dinan is covering labor and making it easy for yiu

I'm finally at end of job.... DINAN shipped the replacement front springs to the shop that did the install and covered the cost. Mistakes happen. Dinan stepped up and handled it all without the need for me to push at all. Thank you DINAN! This looks so much better! I was going for a more aggressive feel. I didn't mind losing a bit of the open space in the wheel well, but I surely did not want a slammed car and I will not miss the constant fear of bottoming out.
I also added spacers, 20mm on back and 15mm on front. Thanks to Ben at RG Sports for getting them to me so quickly. I can't believe what a difference 20 mm makes. They fit perfectly and are flush with the widest part of the fender. The back is fairly aggressive but I really like it. I'll also include a pic of the Blendmount ( https://blendmount.com/ ) radar detector mount I installed yesterday. It was easy to install and looks fantastic. It's a much cleaner look then the windshield suction cup... |

Looks perfect!
Yours looks a lot better with spacers and lowering kit. I'm now looking into the Dinan springs

Well done, now your car probably accelerates like a bat out of hell.
I like those exhaust tips exactly the way you've got them. To my eye their visual effect is a part and parcel of having a free flowing exhaust on high performance cars. Otherwise, the rear end of stock G30s might as well pass for Nissan Altima or some such. (I am not keen on the stock exhaust trapezoid tips/shrouds.) I've got a question for you: have you got the rocker panel (side) extensions installed on your car ? I am also thinking of getting the rocker panel "M performance" black decals/film for my Alpine white 2019 M550i like yours, but I am not sure if the decals were meant to be applied without the side extensions, i.e., if they fit right on the stock rocker panels. |

Great job on your car!
Questions for you, does your m550 have the DHP or not? Do you know how this might affect lowering with dinan springs? AFAIK, the DHP suspension is quite different from the standard suspension on the M550 Thanks |

I do not believe mine has the full DHP. I bought it off the show room floor and it checked most of the boxes I wanted. I threw the window sticker out, but when I run the VIN I only see adaptive m performance suspension listed.

I literally just bought a brand new M550i today and i am all over the place with what i want to do to it. I feel like i would really want to do the dinar s1 tune and watched so many videos on it on youtube. I paid and extra $8,000 for a 100k mile warranty. I see so many people say that dinar does not jepardize the warranty but my dealership said it 100% will completely void my warranty. What is the truth with this?
Also how much faster does it really make the car, Very noticeable difference? |

If BMW denies a repair claim because it was caused by the Dinan tune, Dinan will pay for it. I don't think Dinan will match the extended warranty though. |
