Full Screen CarPlay Gone

Long story short: I previously coded my car(2018 m550) for full screen car play. It went in to the dealer last week for a new transfer case and TPMS sensors (under warranty). The car came back and full screen car play was gone, as were several other previously coded items.

When trying to recode, BimmerCode no longer reads the head unit module. I have the latest and greatest updates to BimmerCode, so not sure what’s happening here. All other modules are accessible with no issues.

Was the unit ever patched before? If bimmercode cant access headunit it means the unit is patched or missing coding data. The dealer mostly likely flash the headunit which restored it to default. Can you restore previous backups?
You can try using esys to check the state of the headunit.

Unfortunately, I don't have esys. The headunit was never modified outside of myself coding in full screen car play. Otherwise, all was factory setting when I bought the car.

I can't get a back-up because I always get an error when trying to access the head unit module. Bimmercode throws up a window saying it has trouble or an error trying to access the module. I'm wondering if it's perhaps driven by the bluetooth adapter I'm using.

This might be corrupt coding data. If you have ENET cable i can have a look at it.

I have an enet cable on order through Amazon. I appreciate the offer, and will likely message you once it's here.

Update - I downloaded Bimmercode onto a new iPhone and was able to code. Stinks I had to pay for the app again, but the most recent app updates didn't allow my old iPhone X read the module for some reason or other.
