BMW Motorsport insignias

Customers who order a BMW M car or a BMW model with the M Sport package starting with March 2022 can have badges inspired by the original “BMW Motorsport” insignia placed on the vehicle’s front, rear, and wheel hubs. According to BMW, that badge represents the sub-division’s passion for racing and the BMW M brand’s history as an alternative to the traditional BMW logo. From the end of January 2022, this one-of-a-kind offer for BMW M models will be available for order.

What about those of us who bought a 2022 BMW M550Ix before March 2022? Don't we deserve to be included in the special markings? If not, how about an offer to procure the roundels and wheel hub covers at a discounted price? All 2022 M-spec models should be included!

Be glad. Those ordering in March might not get a car for a long time. German car makers are in a big bind with this war in Ukraine.

I had the same thought but the nostalgia trumps the look. These were coveted back in the day of BMW Motorsport and M-Technic.

They won't be so special when they hit IND DIST and everyone can buy them. I'm not even sure I like them anyways doesn't fit the feng shui of my color scheme.

That's a great idea, maybe have it framed with a few old/new photos.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the look and think it would clash with my color scheme. But, I also understand the nostalgic part, so it's cool they are bringing it back.
