Boost cut due to MAF sensor?
Hi,
I have been in seek of a problem in my G30 530i xdrive about a boost/torque fluctuation, the problem occurs split a second especially driving uphill. What can be the reason for this? I feel the torque is fluctuating at its peak point while I am keeping the throttle constant and also see it in the sport screen of torque gauge, but I could not find the reason. The car is accelerating gradually by cut-go-cut-go…I just replaced xfer case fluid but it seems it had no effect. I would be glad to hear your comments. Some say MAF sensor, can it be? I know when doing filters on my M550i, I was warned about the filter oil coming from ECS or K&N (not sure what one), I dried the filters overnight in paper towels to avoid letting the sensitive MAF sensor get ANY oil on it. Could be issue that they are so sensitive?

Pretty sure if I remember it effected a lot of what you saying from engine getting mixed bad signals of air going into engine. I’d google it. I’m remembering stuff from what I was told so I could be totally incorrect.
