My brother loves to turn on his 'butt warmers' without the passenger knowing about it. He does that to his wife and his friends. He also got me a couple times. It's like you're sitting there doing whatever and all of a sudden, WTF!! He thinks it's so clever. Such a dumbass!!

Agreed. Most people will find the heated seats a nice feature. But I think someone said it earlier, these bad boys heat up fast ! My old Acura took 3-5 minutes to even know they were on !

My E39 w/ winter pkg had a heated steering wheel - I wish that was included with the E90. The steering wheel on a car parked outside in 10 degree weather gets cold and hard - much nicer to drive w/out gloves.
Good to hear the seats warm-up quicker. .

If I could make an improvement on the heated seats it would be to make them part of the memory fuction. Meaning, program them to come on eveytime you start the car. Call me lazy but I must turn them on every time I get in.

It would be very easy to reset it with the memory button on the seat. |

I turn it on lowest level when travelling long distances even if its not cold outside.
Use this feature and the excellent lumbar support and no more pain in the back! |

how many times have I wished for a heated steering wheel?
You don't have to make it to the North Pole to make a heated steering wheel worth while.
When the temperature gets down to below zero farenheit it takes a lot longer for your car to warm up before those vents stop blowing cold air on your already frozen hands. So you end up wearing gloves while driving, making it difficult (and annoying) to operate some controls, like the stereo or the windows. The heated seats (and presumably steering wheel) don't have to wait for the engine to warm up before warming you up. |

Yes, it has been very cold, and the heated seats are great. The seats seem to heat up quick, if left on level 3, you're on fire lol

With the heated seats on level 3, you can still ride around in 50 degree weather with all the windows down and the roof open!
To think that I almost passed on heated seats...! Glad I got them! |
