In Todays Episode of General Chat - STOCK TALK

A few weeks back I bought into several thousand shares of FUBO TV stock at $2.50 per share. The company isn't profitable yet and probably won't be for a couple years. Despite it not being profitable, I thought at $2.50, it was way undervalued. The shorts have been killing this stock over the past few months.
My position is a long hold.

I have FUBO TV and it's freaking outstanding. Total cord cutter. The interface is way better than the competition. A boat load of channels, 1000 hours of DVR. The company has more than doubled its subscribers in a years time without one hiccup in service. Now that's scalability. Having been an operations guy, it seems like their operations is rock solid.

Anyways, this shit is going nuts...the stock exploded yesterday. It shot up 80% and finally closed at a 44% gain and pre trade is 11%. The next Meme stock?? I never get lucky like this.

Whether this stock does well or not, the product is outstanding and gets you away from expensive crap like Xfinity...etc. $75 bucks per month....all you need is an internet connection.
Excellent. I love it. I'd normally take at least enough off the table to cover my initial investment and let that shit riiiiiiiiide. This happened with me on a biotech. I let it ride too long tho and this pig got turned into a hog.
Yeah, I usually do the same cash out on my initial investment and let the rest ride. It's on a downslide at this moment. I'm a long hold on this one. This is my play money. I have a serious account and a sandbox/gambling account. I have no idea why the big pump yesterday. Sometimes I think the game is rigged. The shorts beat the shit out of the stock for the past year. I still think it's under valued. But what the hell do I know?

Seems like everyone else is gambling too but i agree, insider trading on these small stocks has to be the norm.

After the big pop, Wedbush, Downgrades the stock. I don't know who the hell Wedbush is, but almost looks like they're covering the shorts.

UNH Has been my rock of Gibraltar during these turbulent times….heavily invested.

I was just going to mention this. Was watching CNBC this morning and FUBO was mentioned as it was getting hammered.

I may buy 1k shares on this dip though. Ya never know!
Going to watch it for a few days.

Be careful with this one. I'd buy more if it dipped back into the twos again. It's like trying to ride a wild horse on fire! I love the service though.

My thoughts also. If it dips inside $3, I may grab some. Did a 1 year chart on this beeyotch and it was $33 last year. Risky, but could pay out. nicely.

Noticed something I thought was cool on the roof of my car. Morning condensation started to build when I got to work and it was completely smooth and undisturbed. Gotta be the ceramic and fresh wash the day before.

Buyer pays a 5% fee on top of the final sale price to BaT, with a minimum of $250, and capped at $5,000. So $5,000 for this one. I got my E39 off BaT.

Nope. BaT is how it should work. It's a daily stop for me to look at classic or rare cars.

Pretty straight forward then. I wish you didn't tell me this.

I could take the $2,600 and buy a small riding mower and better backpack blower and maybe cut my yard time in half and keep doing it myself.

Or find someone who is better but probably charges double.

Or just learn to live with it and pay $2,600 a year to not be happy but not screw with it and spend more time washing the car and hanging out.

All opinions appreciated. Especially those who have "been there, done that". This seems like one of those "coming of age" dilemmas for young family guys.
If you enjoy doing it yourself, get the tools. If not, I would find someone that knows what they're going and doesn't just mow, blow & go.
I do enjoy it. I'm "that guy" on my street with the manicured yard. It's not that it's the best landscaping, I just hit all the details.

My problem is time. 5 year old and another one coming this fall. I'd like to enjoy the weekend and hopefully still play a little golf. Not to mention, I've picked up a new hobby keeping the car looking good, which I also enjoy a lot.

I THINK it would be worth it to invest in upgraded equipment if I can turn a 2 hour job into a 1 hour job. I just have to really evaluate if I think that will be attainable.

What I may do is just keep this guy through the fall/leaf season. In the meantime, get a solid quote from a company that will do it the way I do (or close). That will also give me a few months to see what our life and time looks like with a kindergarten kid and a newborn. If I still want to make the investment and keep it going myself, by then mowers will be stocked up for spring and I'll have more choices. It's real slim pickings down here for small riding mowers right now (think like the Snapper that Forrest Gump cut the fields on haha).
I use mowing time as "alone" time away from the kids. A good pair of ANC headphones and you'll enjoy yourself on the tractor.

Along with a bottle of irish whiskey and a cigar. One of my neighbors used to get totally shitfaced while mowing his lawn. His wife had no clue. When he would get to a part of the yard where his wife couldn't see him, out came the bottle. He would spend hours cutting that lawn. It was a 45 minute cut at most.

True that. As much as I drool over M5's , money better spent on a 911T. If you are going to have a car you can't drive on uneven pavement, may as well be a P car. And they appreciate.

Any of you guys have or had an X7? There's a good deal not far from me on a 2019 lease turn in. Loaded up. 23k miles. Same dealer that I got my CPO 540.

Would love to hear any feedback or experience. I'll peruse the X7 forum, but thought I'd ask the guys I'm familiar with also.

Also any general feedback on the idea of trading a 2022 Lexus with 5k miles for a 2019 X7 with 23k miles. Obviously the X7 is the nicer vehicle. Just never traded backwards in time before. But she drove one and it was awesome. Not very impressed with the GX for what she needs (a comfortable and tech heavy around town family SUV). Lesson learned for her - don't buy without trying it first. I tried to tell her…
