Celebrating my 3 (turning 4) year old's birthday on Saturday. Sunday I'm probably back in the office working, because the fun doesn't stop until June 30th.

I'm exhausted. Been in the office every night till midnight I think this week.

Your profession of faith? Or someone else's?

I remember mine, nervous as anything, I hate public speaking even though I'm told I do it well and at my church we gave our testimony prior to being baptized.

But I always loved hearing everyone else's testimonies, so interesting everyone's different backgrounds and how they came to believe in God.

It was a baptism for close friends' baby in a Catholic church with the water sprinkled on head followed by the naming of baby, then a short speech by the father which we couldn't hear much of as tannoy was not switched on.

After the service a photo session outside the church then a short drive to their home where food and drinks were served with a celebratory glass of prossecco at first, there were around 20 of us present and great company.

A glorious day it was so were entertained in their garden as quite hot 27C whew! Just got back not long ago.

This past Sunday I was "driving Ms. Daisy" (my BILIL, to Dodger game.)

Upcoming, I have another customer: my dad. Driving him 6-7 hours northeast to attend a celebration of life. When I agreed, I was under the apparently false assumption there were gambling facilities within about 30 minutes.

First big trip for the new X3!!!

Welp, dad called today and cancelled. He's having extreme(ly) weird pains in his joints, and said even an old leg break from playing soccer 40+ years ago had him up all night. He's in no mood to drive 6 hours.

So, an invitation to a graduation party from my wife's newer boss is next up. Hopefully my drunken spewing doesn't ruin her chance for promotion to QA position. . .

Tell him to try Voltaren. My hip and knee pain has gotten terrible and this gel works great for temporary relief. Even if he cant make the drive it will help him to feel better just getting around. $18 @ Walmart...or hell, order him some for Fathers Day!

Bought two tubes from Amazon for chronic knee and elbow pain. I didn't notice a difference after using it for a couple of weeks. You have to put it on four times a day too.

I'm not saying it doesn't work, just didn't work for me unfortunately.

Damn, that sucks. I can feel the difference on my hip almost instantly. It doesnt cure my problem, just makes it a little more tolerable until I can get surgery or what ever

Which suggests to me my issue is not arthritis

Number two son has a couple friends over for a sleepover. So that makes five or six kids here tonight. Not really sure to be honest.
