FS:M550i Catless downpipes 2017 and up

Have a set of Armytrix 3" catless downpipes with cat simulators for sale. Pipes were on my car for about 1000 miles, but now I'm looking at getting a M5 so I'm putting it back to stock. These were on my 2018 M550i . They use all the factory mounting bracket locations (not like the cheaper ones that just hang off turbos) and have the"cat simulators" inside the pipe which actual did work... no check engine light. The sound is awesome too! I paid $1400 asking $800 shipped to lower 48

Was the ECU stock or tuned? How difficult are these to install and remove?

I had a stage one tune before i installed them ( stock exhaust setup) had no issues. Took a couple of hours to do all depends on how comfortable you are working on these cars

the trouble is that new ARM downpipes are $400, so not sure why someone will pay 700-800 for used pipes....

True the ARM are $400...i also threw a set of those in the garbage they fit so poorly they cracked in under 6 months. It’s a lot of work to put these on for them to crack so fast not to mention we are driving a $80k car but to each their own

I'd pay the extra, especially for part like this for proven quality and fit. I've found over the years you can actually end up paying more when you initially try to save $$

Do NOT buy ARM. I threw mine out after the shop put my old car back to stock years ago. Wouldn't have even offered them to someone for free because of the headaches they would run into during the install.

I think more and more states are cracking down on test pipes, tunes ect.. that less people are taking the plunge to do mods.
