My Carbon Black 540!

Hello Everybody!

Wanted to share my current car and get everyone's opinion on it so far. Also I'm open to any mod suggestions, anything to slowly bring it all together.

Current Mods:
M5 style diffuser (not the best one)
M5 Carbon Wing (taken from a crashed M5)
Remus Catback Exhaust (Stock downpipe, might run catless soon)
15mm Rear spacers
13mm front spacers
MST Intake.

Future planned mods:
Lowering springs
Charge pipe
Catless DP (maybe)
Front Splitter

Lastly is a tune, but specifically something to bring back the upshift bangs and burbles, not really trying to push too much power, looking around 380ish hp and 370ish lbft. If anybody knows somewhere in the Los Angeles/Orange County area that can tune please let me know! Anyways here is the car!

That is an unbelievable look. I personally would not do much more to the exterior.

Looks great. Enjoy the ride. Since you've gone with the black out theme, have you considered black exhaust tips?

I wouldn’t do a thing. Look sweet as is. Waiting on a 530i in Carbon black metallic with the M sport package any day now.

Thank you brother! I wanted to but the only tips were in carbon, which added an extra $200 to the cost, which in all honestly looks amazing, but I like how the chrome gives it some variety of colors.

That's awesome my dude, congrats! I originally wanted a M550, but the deal I got on my car was too good to pass. I'd definitely get something higher quality compared to mine, I cheaped out on the diffuser and got it for $250 which has the fitment not so good.

Wanted to show some updates I've made regarding the interior. I just did some messing around with BimmerCode trying to get as close to a M5 dash.

Bro Cali brother here as well. I want to get the Remus as well but the stupid exhaust law is giving me pause. Hope you never have to encounter this problem. Keep me posted. Would like to talk to you in private as I have other questions. Thanks.

Amazing sound,, is this the Remus rear muffler only or full exhaust?

Maybe change your wheels? here is my sapphire black 540i basically its exactly what you did but with aftermarket wheels.

I was thinking about buying wheels but when I was getting the car I wanted these wheels specifically, so maybe down the line, but I'm happy with them for now! Also it's a catback exhaust, stock downpipe for right now

How did you code the m5 cluster ?

It's a whole process brother, I used some posts in the X3 forums and G20 forums, a lot more people interested in stuff like that in those forums!

looking good, sounds good. the only thing is with the M5 dash graphic when you put it into sport/sport+ the glow effect for speed and rpm goes away which makes it pretty dull looking imo.
